Baby Shower Coffee Catering

A dojo teaches discipline in service of others. At a shower, that service belongs to the family that's about to grow.

Baby showers, sip-and-sees, sprinkles and gender reveal parties. The Wandering Dojo brings a staffed espresso cart to showers at homes, venues and event spaces across Columbus, with every drink made to order.

What guests can order

• Lattes, cappuccinos and cortados made to order, with flavored lattes like Vanilla Bean and Salted Caramel, hot or iced

• Decaf espresso for any drink, so the parent-to-be can join in

• Chai and matcha lattes, loose-leaf tea and hot cocoa for guests who skip coffee

• Oat milk, always free

A drink named for the parents-to-be: We can create a custom signature pour just for the shower. Printed cups or sleeves with the baby's name or the shower theme need at least 4 weeks.

Fits the party: The cart is compact, about 4 feet by 28 inches, and carries its own fresh and waste water, so it fits in a living room, a backyard or a rented hall. We need two separate dedicated 15–20 amp circuits, and for outdoor showers, a covered backup spot in case of rain.

Brunch and afternoon showers: Most showers fit our starting package of 25 guests and 2 hours, and larger showers get more time or a second barista. Hosting at a restaurant or venue? Check its outside catering policy, and we'll send a certificate of insurance if it needs one.

Allergies: Our drinks are made with dairy milk unless a guest chooses oat milk, which is always free, and everything is prepared on shared equipment. Tell us about any allergies when you book and we will plan around them.

What to expect:

Baby showers start at $825 for 25 guests and 2 hours, and your price grows with guest count, hours and carts.

A 50% deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance due on the day of the shower.
